During our upcoming March 28, 2023 Federal Executive Association of Connecticut meeting (open to all Connecticut Federal Employees), the Veterans Benefit Administration will present on the newly approved and implemented PACT Act that expands healthcare and benefits to Veterans that have been exposed to toxins during their service.

The PACT Act and how it will affect VA benefits and care (especially of interest to our Federal Employee veterans)
What does it mean to have a presumptive condition for toxic exposure?
What burn pit and other toxic exposure conditions (cancers and illnesses) are now presumptive?
How do our Veteran employees file a disability claim for a new presumptive condition
And much more.
Join the Federal Executive Association of Connecticut for a full membership meeting on March 28, 2023 at 10:00 am. We will be in person at the Veterans Administration’s Hartford Regional Office located at the Newington, CT Campus.

In order to facilitate entry, we are asking that all attendees RSVP to Leonardo Nunes at the email provided below.
From the VA Main Entrance located in Building 2E, please take the elevators to the 5th floor and we’ll have staff onsite to escort you to the meeting location. Since the Regional Office is located at a VA Hospital Facility masks are required to enter the building. Once we are in the meeting area and if everyone is comfortable we can conduct the meeting without masks and once we are ready to leave we have to put them back on to leave the building.
